I do not want you to feel like you have to come in if you are not feeling well. If you are a no-show to your appointment the same policy applies concerning the booking fee as stated above, but you will also loose any credit that you have on-file for any referral bonuses. What is Permanent Make-up?Cosmetic tattooing, also known as permanent makeup or micropigmentation, is a technique in which high-quality pigments are inserted into the dermal layer of the skin using specialized needles. It is a form of tattooing that is primarily used to enhance certain facial features, such as eyebrows, eyeliner, and lip color. One of the main advantages of cosmetic tattooing is the time-saving aspect. By having permanent makeup applied, individuals can skip the daily routine of applying traditional makeup, saving time and effort. The results of cosmetic tattooing can last for several years, although they may fade over time and require touch-ups. Cosmetic tattooing can provide a long-lasting and smudge-proof solution, allowing individuals to engage in activities such as sweating, swimming, or exercising without worrying about their makeup smudging or running. It can be particularly beneficial for people with active lifestyles who desire a consistently flawless appearance.
-
How long will my makeup last?Tattooed makeup lasts a long time, but not forever. Some lighter colors are more vulnerable to effects of sun, swimming and breakdown by the body naturally. As you become accustomed to your new makeup, it is not uncommon to want more. You will want to freshen up your look every few years. The longevity of tattooed makeup can vary depending on several factors, including the quality of the pigments used, the skill of the tattoo artist, and individual factors such as skin type and lifestyle. Generally, tattooed makeup can last for several years before it starts to fade or lose its vibrancy.
-
How long does it take to heal?Indeed, the healing time after tattooed makeup can vary from person to person. Factors such as individual skin characteristics, the size of the treated area, and the technique used by the tattoo artist can influence the healing process. Proper topical anesthetics and numbing agents can help minimize discomfort during the tattooing process. While some swelling may occur immediately after the procedure, it is generally minimal and temporary. Bleeding is typically minimal as well, especially when the tattoo artist follows proper hygiene and technique. Aftercare instructions provided by the tattoo artist are crucial for optimal healing. These instructions usually involve keeping the treated area clean and dry, avoiding excessive sun exposure, and refraining from picking or scratching at the tattooed makeup. Following these instructions can help promote proper healing and reduce the risk of complications. A touchup session around 6 weeks after the initial procedure is a common practice in cosmetic tattooing. This allows the tattoo artist to assess the healed result and make any necessary adjustments to achieve the desired outcome. For lip treatments, the touchup may occur around 10 weeks to account for the specific healing process of the lips. It's worth noting that individual results may vary, and some clients may not require a touchup at all if their tattooed makeup heals well and meets their expectations. However, scheduling a touchup session ensures that the treatment area is perfected and any minor inconsistencies or fading can be addressed. Overall, proper aftercare, regular touchup sessions, and open communication with your tattoo artist can help maintain the appearance and longevity of your tattooed makeup.
-
Is it painful?Ensuring a comfortable experience for my clients is an important aspect of providing quality tattooed makeup services. Pain tolerance can indeed vary from person to person, and different areas of the face may be more sensitive for some individuals. Having a variety of topical anesthetics on-hand and using them freely to make clients comfortable is a proactive approach. These anesthetics can help numb the skin and minimize any potential discomfort during the procedure. By regularly checking in with my clients and asking about their pain levels, I can gauge their comfort and provide additional anesthetic if needed. By prioritizing my clients' comfort and employing various measures to minimize pain, I am demonstrating a commitment to delivering a professional and caring tattooed makeup experience.
-
How long does each procedure take? This first procedure will take between 1 hour and 3 hours, depending on the area being done. The follow-up/touch-up session will take less time than the original. I can let you know ahead of time how long I think your appointment will be.
-
Can I have Eyebrows, Eyeliner/Lash Enhancement and Lips done all at the same time?Absolutely, In fact a great advantage of doing all at the same time is that your aftercare and healing time for all area's is consolidated into the same time frame. If doing all procedures at the same time the appointment would take between 2-4 hours.
-
How long does the procedure take?To ensure that a perfect job is done and you get professional eyelashes, it takes anywhere from 1/2 hour to 1.5 hours for a full set of classic lash extensions to be applied. Volume Lashes could be around 1.5 hours. My aim is to leave you looking stunning and glamorous, so no step can be skipped. Please allow me the proper time to do a professional job. If you need an infill, it will take 30-60 minutes to bring your lashes back to perfection. It helps if you come with clean eyes. This allows me more time to perfect those beautiful lashes.
-
Can I use an eyelash curler with my extensions? No!!! I do not recommend using mechanical eyelash curlers on your extensions as this will damage the extensions and could also damage your natural lashes as well.
-
What I should expect? It starts with you reclining into a comfy chair. And with your eyes closed, I begin applying the Eyelash Extensions. Soothing music plays in the background and you are more than welcome to have a lash nap. The process is so comfortable and relaxing that many of my clients fall asleep and wake up with beautiful eyelashes. You should feel no discomfort whatsoever.
-
What sets you apart from other eyelash salons?I use the highest quality glue and lash extensions on the market today. I take pride in my work and guarantee everything. I am highly trained in multiple procedures and techniques of lashing in order to give you the best eyelashes suited to you, your face shape and eye shape. Did you know that it is not one eyelash style for every person? With different curls and application styles I can lift a downward turned eye or help correct someone who has a wide set of eyes. Do you really want to trust your eyes to low quality products and inexperienced technicians? Good work is not cheap and cheap work is not good.
-
How do I take care of my Eyelash Extensions? You are making an investment in yourself by having beautiful eyelashes extensions. I want to give you the best advice to make them last as long as possible. Eyelash Extensions will usually last for 2-4 weeks and if you look after them upwards of 6 weeks. So to keep them looking beautiful for longer follow these instructions below. Before the procedure: Remove all eye makeup and clean your lashes preferably with an oil free make up remover. (If you come to your appointment with clean eyes then this allows me more time to apply your lashes) Do not use moisturizer around your eyes the day of your appointment, and only use oil free everything around your eyes afterwards. Best to use nothing. Set aside ample time for your appointment so we don't feel rushed. A full set of eyelashes usually takes between 1 to 1.5 hours. Depending on the type you choose. If you show up late to an appointment there is no guarantee that we will be able to provide a full set with the time left over. A rebooking may need to be done. After the procedure: No form of liquid should come in contact with the eyes for at least 24 hours. This means no swimming, steam shower, spa or hot tub. Also take the day off your workout as sweat in your eyes will also be an issue. The glue we use needs time to cure for long lasting eyelashes. Only use 100% oil free everything around your eyes. It is recommended that you do not use mascara or eyeliner at all. Follow the guidelines on the complimentary after care card given at your first appointment.
-
What are infills?Infills are the key to maintaining your lush new eyelashes. Your natural Eyelash's shed gradually over time. Typically you lose anywhere from 1 to 3 lashes automatically every day. To maintain the luster and fullness of your eyelash extensions, Infills are required once every 2 to 3 weeks. I simply apply individual Eyelash Extensions to the spaces available, bringing perfection back to your look.
-
Can I apply mascara to my Eyelash Extensions? With the quality Eyelash Extensions we provide you, you do not need mascara. Nothing should go on or near your eyes for the best possible retention.
-
What happens if I choose to have my eyelash extensions removed? If you would like your eyelash extensions removed it is no problem. It usually takes between 20 and 30 minutes. We use a specially formulated gel that dissolves the glue so that there is no damage done to your natural lashes. Please note that it is dangerous to attempt to remove the extensions by yourself as this can cause damage to your natural lashes.
-
I have no natural eyelashes at all, can I wear Eyelash Extensions?"Eyelash extensions can only be applied on natural lashes. That is what holds them. You do need some natural lashes in order to receive a full set. Clients who are currently undergoing chemotherapy or suffering from alopecia, trichotillomania and other related diseases cannot undergo our procedure or wear Eyelash Extensions.
-
What if I had my initial eyelash extensions done at another salon? Will you do an infill for me?This would have to be discussed before you book your appointment. Generally as a rule of thumb I do not infill someone else's work unless I know the quality and products they use. If you come to your appointment with lashes applied from another salon this will most likely mean that a full removal and re-application will be done.
-
What if I have gaps and or damage done to my natural lashes? Can they still be applied? The best thing to do here is contact me and we can setup a free consultation so I can see what damage there is. There are stacking and capping technique's that I am certified in to bridge certain gaps and create the look of full lashes. I do also sell products that repair damaged lashes and aid their growth. Feel free to make enquiries about these products.
-
Will eyelash Extensions ruin my natural eyelashes?Absolutely not!!! Technicians that are properly trained know how to apply eyelash extensions to not overweight the natural lash. There are many different weights and curls of eyelash extensions that can be used. I would first look at your natural lashes and only apply what they will be able to comfortably hold.
-
I am a bride to be looking for eyelash extensions. When is the best time to book for this?We recommend booking 2 weeks before your wedding date to receive your full set. This way if there are any reactions at all they can be removed and you can still enjoy your wedding. If all is well then when it comes closer to your wedding date you would then need to book for an infill appointment. We recommend 1 or 2 days before your wedding date to have this done.
-
I have sensitivities to makeup and/or other beauty products. Can I still have eyelash extensions?Especially if you are sensitive you should discuss this with me first. I can book you in for a patch test to ensure that you will not have an allergic reaction to the full procedure. This is normally done at least 48 hours before your full appointment and takes about 10 mins to perform.
-
What are the different types of eyelash extension styles?
-
How do I choose the look I want?I will consult with you to understand what style you are looking for and what will work best with your face shape, natural eyelashes and how your eyes are placed. I can make a droopy eye seem lifted with specially placed eyelash extensions. I have taken an extra "eye styling" course to give you the best possible look for the different face and eye shapes that everyone has. This is eyelash extension styling at its finest. It is not one style fits all.
-
Does it hurt to get your eyelash extensions done?Absolutely not!!! In fact the experience is quite relaxing and enjoyable. You are placed on a soft reclining chair and covered with a blanket (If you choose). Your eyes are closed through the entire process; while you relax you listen to music playing in the background. "I take requests!!" Most of our clients actually fall asleep during the process and wake to beautiful lashes.
-
What if I have other questions? Please contact me and I would be more than happy to answer all your questions. phone - 647-985-7669 (Call or Text) email - info@LashAddixx.com

Why are eyelash extensions so expensive?Applying a set of eyelash extensions is a very intricate skill that should only be undertaken by a trained professional. Clients put their faith into the technician that they choose. They are working on a very delicate area with sharp tweezers and strong adhesives. The products used are of the highest medical grade quality and, as such are very expensive to purchase. The individual isolation of every suitable natural lash requires skill and time with infills and full sets taking anywhere between 1 to 2 hours to complete. This is not a speedy or cheap procedure. Remember cheap services are not great and great services are not cheap.
-
I have lost a few eyelash extensions in the first 24 hours. Is this normal?Yes it is completely normal, the average person loses between 2-3 lashes per eye, per day, so this is not unusual. If you have received volume lashes this will look like more, but rest assured you will loose a few daily through the natural shedding process.
-
Why have I lost alot of eyelashes in one eye only? This is a good indication that you may sleep on that side during the night, This puts pressure onto the bonds of the eyelash extensions and can cause them to fall off. You are not really aware of what you do when you are sleping. You may even be rubbing your eye without knowing. The only thing I can suggest when this is occuing is try sleping with a mask over your eyes. I have cliets who swear by them and their retention has improved drastically.
-
Do I need a break from eyelash extensions to let my natural lash repair and breath? If you are wearing a good set of eyelash extensions, custom created for you, then you should never need a break and can safely wear them week after week, month after month, year after year. With the caviet that you are keeping them clean daily and not wearing mascara on them.
-
What should I do before my appointment to prepair?Complete all other beauty services the day before like nails, waxing, facials and massages. Do not shave your legs within 4 hours of your appointment as this may cause uneven results. Your pores need time to close to avoid discolouration. If you must shower before your appointment, finish with a cold rinse to help close those pores. Also ensure you are washing off all that soap and product from your skin. Do not apply make-up, deoderant, mosturizer, lotion or any cream to your skin as this will act as a barrier and block absorption of the tanning mist. Dress in loose fitting clothes. (No denim, yoga pants, tight bras or underwear). Ideally bring flip flops as well. I use Aviva Labs solutions. They are oil-free, which means they will not stain your clothes, bedsheets, or couch. Exfoliate 24 hours before with an oil-free product. This is the most important aspect of your before-appointment regimen. By exfoliating your entire body you are turning your skin into a clean slate. Do not take this lighlty!!! This is the key to ensuring you have an even tan that lasts longer. I can give you advice on the best products to us to help you extend your tan by up to 3 days!!
-
What should I do after my appointment?Stay away from all moisture until your first shower. This means no showers, work outs, crying, cleaning, lotions, and no liquid foundations on the skin. Your tan needs the proper time to develop. If you need this "be careful time" to be shorter please ask for a rapid tan. Take your first shower (Rinse only - no soaps and shampoos) in 8-12 hours for a regular tan and 2-3 hours for a rapid tan. Until then, wear loose fitting clothing. (No denim, no bras, and no yoga pants.) Ideally, wear a long t-shirt dress and flip flops. We know it’s hard, but keep your hands off your hot self. No leg crossing or other skin to skin contact. Bring a towel to sit on in your car if you have leather seats. Do NOT go more than than 24 hours after your appointment to shower. Moisturize, Moisturize, Moisturize!!! A spray tans worse enemy after the develop time is dry skin, so moisturize so your skin stay soft and supple. Use a tan extender to extend that beautiful glow by up to 3 days. Do not exfoliate until you are ready to say good-bye to your tan.
-
What can I do to preserve my tan?Avoid swimming, long showers, baths, steam rooms, and saunas. Avoid harsh chemicals such as chlorine, products containing acids, massages, fashion tape, bandages, and anything else that may strip your tan. Moisturize in the AM and PM with an oil-free moisturizer. From Day 3 onwards, you can use our Tan Extender as your moisturizer. Don’t exfoliate until you are ready to say goodbye. And, when you are, use an exfoliating mitt to create the perfect canvas for your next tan.
-
How long will my spray tan last?Your spray tan should last anywhere 5 to 7 days, depending on your aftercare. If you would like it to last longer please ask me how we can make that happen.
-
Aren't spray tans orange? Not this one! The orange discoloration is due to improper application, color mixology, or improper skin care either before or after your spray tan. Follow our prep and aftercare instructions and you will be the perfect shade of bronze.
-
Do I tan naked? Most woman tan nude to avoid the tan lines. If you prefer a tan line, we recommend a thin strong thong. For the men: Minimal clothing, such as boxers or briefs.
-
How long does an appointment take?Your spray tan will usually take 15–20 minutes, but I can’t get enough of you. So I allocate a full 30 minutes for each client.
-
Can I still tan in the sun with a spray tan?You can, but why age prematurely and damage that beautiful skin of yours?! Seriously, wear SPF babe. Spray tans provide no UV protection.
-
Why spray tan anyway? It just feels good to look good. Spray tanning is a fun, safe and simple way to get a beautiful tan without damaging your skin. As an added bonus!! Your friends won't need sunglasses when looking at your white body on the beach. :)
-
How old do I have to be to spray tan?You must be 16 to book this service with me or have a parrents signed consent.
-
How long will it take before I see results?Right away!! You will automatically see your skin darker when you end the session. This will increase within the next 12 hours before your shower.
-
Does laser hair removal hurt?Laser hair removal is not completely painless, but it doesn't hurt most people. Depending on the area and how dense your hair folicles are there it may be a warm sensation. If you are overly sensative to pain, you should prepare yourself for some minor discomfort. For a few days after the procedure, the affected skin may be red and a bit tender.
-
What should I expect during the hair removal procedure?* Hair removal is done in a few sessions depending on the area being treated and the quantity of hair. * It works best if you have a dark hair root as the laser targets the hair folicle. * Please come to the appointment clean. No makeup, deoderant etc. on the treatment area. * You wear googles during the treatment to protect your eyes from the laser. * Gel will be applied to the area. * The handheld device is then passed several times over the area. This shoots a laser beam into the skin which heats up and destroys the hair folicle. * It does not take long, depending on the area it could only be a few minutes. * once done you are good to go. Just take it easy cleansing the area.
-
Can all skin types get laser hair removal? With the laser machine that I have, I can treat all skin types. Even the darkest tone will get amazing results. This is because I use a tripple wavelength diode machine. 755nm, 808nm and 1064nm
-
How many sessions will I need? You will require multiple sessions to acheive a more permanent or satisfactory solution. After the first treatment, many people will have less hair for only a few months. The hair will grow back. It will however, be finer and lighter than before. This is why you need to follow the timeline that is setup for you during your first initial consultation.
-
What should I do in the days before Laser Hair Removal? You should not be plucking or waxing for 6 weeks before your procedure. Laser hair removal works by targeting and destroying the hair follicle, so the follicle must be intact. The day before your procedure you will need to shave the treatment area. Right before your appointment you should take a shower and clean the area thoroughly. Do not apply any lotions, sunscreen, makeup, deoderant or mosturizer to the area being treated. The skin must be clean and free of all product at the time of treatment.
-
I have sensative teeth. Will this make it worse?Short answer....No. The system we use causes little to no sensativity to your teeth. If you have sensative teeth I recomend using Sesodyne toothpaste.
-
What is the difference between your system and a dentist office system? We use the same type of gel and light that the dentist's use. The only differance is the cost. We can whiten your teeth the same at a much less price.
-
How long do the results last from teeth whitening?Average results for the whitening gel that we use is 6 months to 1 year. This this also depends entirely upon your own tooth enamel and on your habits.
-
What are the aftercare instructions? We ask that you have a water only diet for at least 2 hours. 4 if possible. We also ask that within the first 24-48 hours you not put anything in your mouth that would stain your teeth. Red wine, coffee, tea, tabacco. Brightly coloured foods. The pours in your teeth will be open and thus will stain your teeth again. Please wait. You will be happy you did.
-
Would my insurance cover this procedure? No, I have never seen an insurance company cover this as it is cosmetic.
-
I had the treatment and now I have white spots on my teeth. What is that? This does not happen to everyone, but if you do get white spots they will typically disapear within 24 hours. This is calcium that is in your teeth. This is not cause as a result of the treatment but the treatment will bring out exsisting spots more clearly.
-
Who should not undergo teeth whitening? If you are pregnant or lactating you should not do this. Anyone with a dental disease such as gingivitis, or exposed roots should not do this. If you have braces or have had them within the last 6 months then we recomend you wait. Anyone with an open cavity should not do this. Teeth whitening will only whiten your natural teeth. If you have a bridge, crown or veneer it will not whiten this.
-
What should I expect from the results? We typically see up to 3 shades whiter with the first 20 min treatment. I recommend doing 3 treatments at 15 mins each to get up to 8 shades whiter. We use a shade guide to determin what shade your teeth are before and after the treatment.
-
How is the procedure done and how long does it take? The full procedure takes about an hour. You will do 3 treatments of 15 minutes each. Rinsing and reapplying in between each one. This should be done one right after another for the best results.
-
How do I know i'm getting results? Before your procedure we do a colour check with a tooth shade aparatus. Once finished we check the colour again and verify how many shades whiter you got. The results are immediate.
